I want all of my students to become their own person and be able to think and work independently. I believe in motivating my students, and making them realize they are capable of anything they truly put their minds to. I work hard to ensure that the student develops skills they can take (and use) in the classroom. I also work my sessions around my students, adapting to their learning style, and helping them to organize and break down difficult assignments. My extensive experience includes instructing ESL in Italy, working as a tutor in a college peer tutoring program, and leading SAT prep courses. I am available to work with students in reading, writing, essay editing, public speaking, English, grammar and mechanics, college essays, languages, and Italian. I also offer help in ESL/ELL, homework support, study skills and organization, and SAT test prep, including SAT verbal, writing, and critical reading. I am a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, as well as the University of San Francisco.When I'm not working, I enjoy playing soccer, football, and going on urban hikes. I also love to cook different dishes. In addition, I love to read classical myths and study Dante.
