Experience

I have been a private tutor since 1998 and am a Wesleyan University graduate. I tutor multiple subjects for grades 1-12 (including English, Elementary Math, Algebra I, and Geometry), test preparation (including the ISEE, HSPT, and SAT), and English as a Second Language (ESL) to children and adults. I have also tutored writing proficiency and math at Score Education Center - an after-school tutoring center for students, ages 5-15. To aid in my English and ESL tutoring, I draw on my years of experience as a copy editor for IBM/NY Times Custom Publishing and editor of novels, graduate-level research papers, and news stories for broadcast on commercial radio and television stations.
